Star Gold Refining is a private international atelier specialising in the refining, assaying, and minting of gold, silver, platinum, and palladium. We serve collectors, family offices, jewellery maisons, and institutions for whom discretion is not negotiable.
We do not advertise. We do not bid for tonnage. The client base is small, the work is slow, and the standards are unforgiving — the way the discipline has been practised since the earliest goldsmiths first chased the colour of the sun.
The atelier combines century-old chemistry with the most exacting modern analytics in the field. Every gram entrusted to us leaves the floor refined, certified, and accompanied by documentation that will satisfy the most particular custodian.

Where the metal comes from matters as much as where it goes.
Every gram that enters the atelier is documented at source. We refine only material whose chain of custody we can verify — recycled bullion, secondary scrap from accredited refiners, and responsibly sourced doré from miners who meet the LBMA's responsible-gold guidance.
The work itself is conducted to the highest environmental and labour standards, audited annually and refined continuously. A precious metal is only as precious as the conscience behind it.
